It brings together breeders and nurseries of nut crops, farmers, specialists in industrial nut orchards, processing enterprises, exporters, manufacturers of equipment and drip irrigation, garden designers and expert advisers on cultivation.

It was created in 2008 and today is a professional industry association in Ukraine.
"Ukrainian Nut Association" unites breeders and nurseries of nut crops, gardeners-farmers, specialists of industrial nut orchards, processing enterprises, exporters of nuts and nut products, manufacturers of nut equipment and drip irrigation, garden designers and growing experts.
INCREASING THE AREA OF GARDENS
The NGO "Ukrainian Nut Association", as the industry association of the country, contributes to the increase of the area of commercial orchards of nut crops.
For the sixth year in a row, the share of newly created industrial nut orchards is the largest in Ukraine and makes up almost half of the area of all orchards in the country planted with the help of state support programs (2018-2023 - 5,602 hectares of nut orchards, or 41% of the total area of all newly established orchards in the country, established with the help of government support programs).
OUR PURPOSE
The main goal of the NGO "Ukrainian Walnut Association" is:
Formation and implementation of industry strategy
Participation in the formation of agrarian policy of the horticultural industry
Helping the industry reach a new level of profitable and innovative technological garden cultivation
Development of export of nut products
SUPPORT OF INDUSTRIAL NUT GARDENS
In total, more than 13,100 hectares of commercial walnut orchards have been planted.
In total, more than 13,100 hectares of commercial walnut orchards have been planted. These areas are growing dynamically by about 10% every year.
Moreover, in the last four years (2020-2023), the trend of planting hazelnut orchards has increased significantly and, in general, during this period it is 85% of the area of newly planted nut orchards.
In order to increase the profitability of nut horticulture, spread the best experience of domestic and foreign gardens and gardeners-innovators, improve the qualifications of horticultural personnel, the Ukrainian Nut Association organizes industry conferences, scientific and practical seminars, promotes the expansion of training of professional specialists for the industry in scientific institutions, organizes the improvement of their qualifications in high-tech gardens.
Specialists of the association provide advisory and informational support in the creation of a technological project of gardens, preparation and conducting of the necessary technical examinations, preparation of documents for obtaining state aid, provision of certified high-quality seedlings, professional consultations on the latest technologies in the creation of gardens, their cultivation, application of innovative agricultural methods.
ASSOCIATION PROGRAM "SAD - PROCESSOR - EXPORT"
Established in 2020, this program brings together industrial nut orchards to produce high-quality export lots with identifiable varietal integrity and traceability
In 2020, the branch program of the association "Garden - Processor - Export" was launched. This program brings together commercial nut orchards to produce high-quality export lots with identifiable varietal integrity and traceability. Production, processing and export are controlled by certified internationally recognized organizations.
TODAY'S TASKS ARE:

Creation of a single Register of gardens and their certification

Cooperation of orchards for the creation of varietal uniform batches of high-quality nuts from industrial orchards.

Association of industrial gardens, where nuts, hazelnuts, almonds are grown according to the "organic" system, in the ORGANIC NUT POOL

Processing of nuts into nut products: butter, flour, pastes, sweets and confectionery, food ingredients.

Quality control due to an increase in the share of sales of shelled nuts

Creation of regional enterprises for the primary processing of hazelnuts and almonds: cleaning, drying, calibration, splitting of nuts, blanching, etc.
